Sometimes people become stuck in old patterns of thinking, feeling, and being. This can occur because of past traumas, unresolved losses, mental health issues such as depression and anxiety, substance abuse, or other life stressors. Anetra Williams, M.Ed., LPC<\/span><\/b><\/h4>\n
Anetra received her Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University of Houston Clear Lake. She received her Masters in Education (M.Ed.) in Counseling and Development from Lamar University. She is experienced in working with trauma, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, Autism, and IDD. Anetra\u2019s experience includes working with children, adolescents, couples, families, and adults. My name is Terri Yanoviak and I am the counselor for the Chemical Dependency Program in Katy. I am a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) specializing in adult and adolescent outpatient treatment. I received my LCDC from St. Thomas University in Houston. Through my own lifetime journey with addiction and recovery I discovered a passion in working with people who are battling substance abuse issues. Hi! I\u2019m Jessica. I\u2019m a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (under the supervision of Ashley Anglin, LPC-S) and an Adolescent Therapist.<\/span>\u00a0I obtained a\u00a0bachelor\u2019s degree in business administration with a minor in psychology in 2014 and began teaching shortly thereafter. In 2021, I earned a Master of Education in School Counseling from Nicholls State University but remained in the classroom. I moved to Texas and decided it was time for a career change. I\u00a0joined New Dimensions in May of 2023. I have helped adolescents with depression, anxiety, substance use issues, low self-esteem, suicidal ideations, self-harming behaviors, life stressors, trauma,\u00a0<\/span>and\u00a0<\/b><\/span>communication with parents. I have nearly 10 years of experience with adolescents from diverse backgrounds, including immigrants, LGBTQ, and low socioeconomic populations. I use a combination of modalities, but my approach focuses on<\/span>\u00a0Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I am continuously learning and implementing techniques to help my clients heal and become their best possible selves. Regina Elrod, LPC-Associate<\/span><\/h4>\n
Regina Elrod joined NDD Treatment Centers in the April of 2023 as an Adult Mental Health Therapist. Regina is a Licensed Professional Counselor- Associate under the supervision of Professor Larry Garrett. She brings 17 years of experience in education from Houston ISD, Katy ISD, and KIPP Texas, where she worked as a Lead Math Teacher, Athletic Director, Head Track & Field Coach, and Dean of Students. Regina received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Oberlin College (Ohio) in 2002, where she was also a member of the Women\u2019s basketball team and a Ronald E. McNair Research Scholar. Soon she would work in banking, payroll accounting, and then teaching her in Texas. In 2013, she received her master\u2019s in educational leadership and then her second master\u2019s degree in 2022 in Counseling and Development from Lamar University.<\/p>\n
Regina has worked in \u201ccounseling\u201d over the years in various forms, beginning in high school as a peer mediator, then six years as a teacher as a Restorative Circle\/Justice facilitator at Morton Ranch High School and Junior High, five years as a counselor in an international women\u2019s group, and finally, and as a counseling intern through Lamar University. She has experiences with individuals with addictions, marital issues, depression, family issues, and suicidal ideations. \u201cI continue to be a teacher, encourager, and coach patiently working with every person I encounter. I want people to know that their information is confidential with me, and I work my hardest to guide them in their change for the better.\u201d Regina enjoys spending time with her husband and watching their two college kids and youngest play sports and develop their talent in the arts.<\/p>\n
